A systemic approach to change - to change how an organization functions, we need to change our thinking about it / within it

What do you do when a tried-and-tested way of thinking, which has repeatedly led you to success, seems to lose its power over time? Let’s explore why well-managed companies fall into a cycle of recurring transformations – and how to break it. Using a financial services company as an example, we’ll show how enriching the default analytical mindset with a systems approach helped break through an invisible wall of limitations and led to lasting improvements in operational efficiency. We will focus on the specific steps that allowed this organization to move from optimizing local solutions to global, systemic ones. You will learn how understanding the interconnections and dynamics of the entire organization not only enables lasting changes and increases operational efficiency without constantly starting over, but also allows one to break out of established patterns and see what was previously invisible.
