We are pleased to invite you to join the 15th Open Conference organised by Service Process Improvement Network on 12th and 13th September 2023! This year we offer workshops and lectures in wide variety of topics – from IT democratisation and future in the world of AI, through cyber security and process automation to change management. We are hoping to inspire representatives of large shared service centers as well as those managing smaller teams and startups thanks to our rich agenda. 

First day of the conference (tuesday) will consist of full day workshops, which will allow you to dig deep into the covered topics and create a great platform for networking. Workshops will be lead by people who are experts and daily practitioners of their knowledge areas. Participation in the workshop day is subject to 1000 PLN net fee (1230 PLN including VAT) and will take place in Metropolo Hotel by Golden Tulip at Orzechowa 11 street in Krakow.

After the full day of workshops we would like to invite all participants to the informal part of the event – the afterparty in Hevre club at Beera Meiselsa street in Krakow! 

Second day (wednesday) will take place at Jagiellonian University Campus, at Gronostajowa 7 street in Krakow. This day is free of charge and available to everyone. Those who purchase the tickets to day 1 will have a guarantee of a seat in the lecture hall as well as lunch during this day.

SPEAKERS – LECTURES

Lectures are held on the second day of the conference – September 13, 2023.

Andrzej Sobczak

Prof. SGH Andrzej Sobczak works at SGH in Warsaw, where he is the Head of IT Management Department.

He is currently leading educational program for CIOs / IT Directors / Production Team Managers – HiperWydajne Zespoły IT. He is the editor of Robonomika.pl wbesite, co-organizes educational programs Bakcyl RPA, Tytani RPA and MOC Automatyzowanych Procesów.

HE is the founder of Liderzy.AI community, which brings together people engaged in advanced automation of business processes. Over the last 3 years he organized 7 conferences concerning hyperautomation with total attendance exceeding 10000 people.

His book „Strategic positioning of business process robotics in an enterprise” was published by SGH in 2022.

Robert Socha

Investigative journalist, lawyer, consultant. Expert on storytelling, crisis communication, mis/disinformation, verification & fact-checking.

Robert has spent almost two decades in journalism. Currently runs his own media consultancy crafting media strategies and delivering workshops for business clients and newsrooms.

Previously he worked as Google’s main training person for the media in the CEE region (2021-2023). Prior to joining Google he spent years at TVN Poland where he produced dozens of investigative documentaries with significant news impact.

The 2016/2017 academic year Robert spent at Harvard University as a Nieman Fellow researching the intersection of media, law and technology.

Educated as a lawyer, trained prosecutor (passed a bar exam for prosecutors in Poland). He has authored two books.

Anna Grzybowska

15 years of experience in finance operations teams. I’m helping bigest world’s labels to go through transformation changes like implementing new ERP’s, transition processes into SSC/BPO/GBS structures or cleaning entities end to end reporting. Fascinated with problem solving. Privately I love reading and mountain climbing.

 Andrzej Szymczak

Andrzej Szymczak serves as VMware Lead Solution Engineer at VMware Poland, where he joined in 2017. Currently, he has been successfully advising and participating in the largest cloud implementations based on VMware technology for several years. He puts his experience in building and maintaining large IT environments to work on solutions focused on increasing business efficiency, optimizing costs and enhancing IT security. 

He has more than 20 years of experience in managing, designing and implementing IT solutions. For many years he worked for one of the largest financial groups in Poland (PZU Group). As an architect, he participated in building data centers, implementing innovative business solutions for the financial sector, implementing applications, storage solutions, migrating from closed technologies to modern and cost-optimized environments. As a result, he has comprehensive knowledge of the operation of a service unit that is part of a financial group. 

Monika Wótkowska

20 years of experience in pharma business. Started in sales and marketing, gained further experience in demand planning to arrive in new technologies. At present she is managing a team working on AI and Power BI reporting in Adamed. Educated in neurophysiology, business training and logistics, privately a dog enthusiast.

Fascinated by everything that is new and unexplored and by risks accompanying new projects.

Grzegorz Bednarczyk

A pragmatist, enthusiast of agile approache and common sense in implementing agile practices. Associated with the IT industry for 12 years. He gained his experience as an analyst, programmer, IT project manager, and Scrum Master. Currently, he is heavily involved in promoting the use of artificial intelligence tools in optimizing personal effectiveness, teams, and organizations. He conducted the first training in Poland on the use of AI tools for Scrum Masters. In his free time, he fulfills himself as a mentor for Scrum Masters who want to be more effective in their role and build the mindset necessary in the stressful work of a Scrum Master.

Karolina Adamczyk

Innovative leader and strategist. Cross-functional expertise over muliple organizations: digital modernization and vlaue stream process performance, governance and transformation (GenAI, Automation, RPA), System Transformation (S4 HANA System Implementation, Localization Product Ownership for legal, tax and statutory accounting), business finance. Innovation Champion, Agile & Scrum advocate, people developer.

Bartosz Góra

As a Senior Process Improvement Analyst at OANDA, he leads complex projects, combining Lean Management with business process automation methods to drive strategic changes. He has hands-on experience in building automations using Power Automate, Blue Prism, and UiPath. He is deeply fascinated by business transformation and process robotization.

Outside of working hours, he passionately explores prompt engineering techniques and the usage of Generative AI. He also keenly observes the evolution of AI and AGI, analyzing both the positive and potentially negative impacts of upcoming changes.

Paweł Marciniak

IT solutions architect with 20 years of experience. Started his career as a CRM analyst in the telecommunications industry. Then, as the Leader of the Architecture Team, he participated in large implementation projects and in the creation of new regulatory products. He also co-designed the concept of IT architecture transformation. Currently, at TVN, he is the Manager of the Architecture And Analysis Section, which successfully implemented an RPA class tool and provided dozens of automations for the company’s key business areas. He likes to spend his free time playing a good board game or cycling.
